I really enjoy doing models even though I am not very good at them, this is my third Batmobile model and this is the one I have enjoyed building the least.
Right out of the box looking at the pieces and the instructions, you can tell this one will take you a while. It has a lot of little pieces and almost all of the little pieces are really not needed as they end up being covered by other parts of the model.
The instructions are a mess; they include confusing drawings of the model that chances are that will screw you up and will have to do some quick fixing. The text is thrown in there, and doesn’t really work well with the drawings next to it.
The Batman and Robin figures with the model is a nice touch, but are a pain to paint mostly because of the small details. Perhaps a better and more experienced model painter would have no problem, but for me they came out pretty poor.
Since I found the instructions pretty confusing I messed up a couple of things and had find new ways of them to fit on the model, which was frustrating, but I finally got the job done. I left out a lot of the small pieces because they were going to be covered by other part of model, or I just missed them entirely because of the confusing instructions.
Of the three Batmobiles I put together; this one took the longest and I just wanted to get this one done because it was quite frustrating to put together.
